Tonight we were invited to Lynn and Ford Goodman's lovely Sonoma home for a "House Concert". Just beyond their gorgeous pool they are in adding an office for Ford, a guest room and an outdoor cooking kitchen, it;s going to be awesome.
Ford works for Gracenote. He seems to have followed his love for music to build a career job that he is passionate about.
Their house is so beautiful, open, warm, inviting and perfect to host the expected 60 people. Ford worked with the church close to his house to allow guests to park. They hired an events company to bring guests, via golf cart back and forth to their house. Since it was raining pretty hard this was a fantastic benefit.
There were two gigs….the first preformer was Jon Shannon Williams, he was OK more of an entertainer vs a musician.
But the second was world famous Cory Morrow playing with equally famous Jon Carroll.
Overall a wonderful evening, good people, good food, good music….life is GOOD!
