Thursday, October 10, 2013.  Tonight we fly to the north of Argentine a town called Salta

We started today opposite of how we have enjoyed Buenos Aires.  We cab to our destination, Palermo Soho, and decided we would walk our way back to our hotel before we picked up our bags to head to the domestic airport to fly to Salta.   We walked around Palermo Soho a bit then headed to Jardin Botanical .  Well it started to rain and we felt it was a perfect time to visit a museum.  So we went to the MALBA and we enjoyed it!

For cured-meat cut above the rest we headed to this deli & wine bar.  We met the Owner's son, who earned his Masters in the US but needs to help his family continue to run this and one other location.

After our arrival on Aerolineas Argentinas airline into Salta we drove our rental car into Salta and walked around, took some of the photo's above and then drove to our hotel about 20 minutes south of Salta in a town called Rosario de Lerma.  Our hotel was the Cerros de Terciopelo.

We arrived late, say 9:00 pm and it appeared as though we were the only guests.  What we loved was that it was out in the country and not right in the town of Salta.
